Marble table base

Sculptural dining table base attributed to Manuel Vidal Grau, a Valencian maker famed for his luxury furniture. A classical-style capital of volutes and acanthus leaves crowns a shaft of chromed tubes with gilded appliqués. The result is a postmodern design that blends ancient architecture with the shine of metal. It is a piece of great presence, meant to make a dining room, a living room or a designer space the star of the show.
