Nang Yai Shadow Puppet Sculpture

Elegant wayang kulit shadow puppet from Indonesia, with articulated arms and a delicate openwork headdress, crafted in polychrome leather with gilded details and horn rods. It is presented in a methacrylate display case with a stand, ready to be exhibited as a decorative piece evocative of traditional Javanese theatre. It shows the wear typical of use, with small losses of paint that form part of its history. A singular sculpture for lovers of Asian art and decoration with character.
